Guiding & Hiking

In partnership with local guides, we arrange guiding services for the Rock-hewn Churches of Lalibela and other tourist attractions outside of town (walking, mule ride or driving).

In collaboration with our local partners, we also can arrange a day/multiple days of hiking in and around Lalibela, including Asheton Mariam, Yemerhane Kirstos, Na’akto’lab and Mt. Abune Yosef where there will be opportunity to see Gelada Baboons and the Ethiopian Wolf at an altitude of 4300meters. (Multiple day hiking could be either an overnight in a home stay with local communities or in a lodge along the routes).

We offer certain camping facilities and campground on and off site on first come first serve basis
